Last Saturday I received a call from my daughters neighbor, he said she had an accident & the ambulance was on the way.
I said I'd be right over, took about 7 minutes.
She was cleaning the gutters, on a ladder, the ladder slipped & she went too.
When I arrived she was on the stretcher, neck brace, talking, her ankle hurt & she heard a snap in her back when she landed on her feet, they acted sort of as shock absorbers.
She fractured her L2 vertebrae & sprained her ankle.
They operated Tuesday night & cemented the L2.
Amazingly she was released Thursday & is recovering well. She is limited, no lifting or bending & wears a brace for support for now. But she is VERY lucky!
No more ladders!!
