Speaking of radar detectors and cops, driving south on 95, on a normal day there are a couple of cops in NJ, another couple in Maryland, two or three in Virginia, and here and there in NC, SC, and GA, the nothing in most of FL until south of Fort Pierce on occasion.
This year, it was killing fields in the Carolinas, literally. Both directions, in some places every few miles. Don’t know what got into them. It made NY look like paradise. They even pulled truckers over, and everyone knows truckers are huge speed limit and road rules offenders, all the time. Good job on that, though. I hate trucks. They obstruct traffic, ....slow me down. But, they have a strong lobby it seems, greasing lots of people and never get pulled over. It is little joes who get that.
I find stalking motorists with radar as abuse of power by cops. They should be spending more time keeping trucks and slower vehicles off the left lanes, signaling, passing on the right lane tickets, etc. American roads are a free for all, and just stalking for speeding is an easy and LAZY way for local towns to get revenues, instead of enforcing the rules and laws you learn about and tested on when getting a license, and then ignore for the most part. They have these fancy new cars and suvs loaded with tech, and then spend the time hiding around bends and in the trees stalking people. And then, VA and CT won’t allow you to know where these fkrs are.
If you don’t use a radar detector in America, you are a sheep for slaughter.
