I wonder how csl was expecting a red wave election in 2018, and continues to think joe sixpack is a motivated Trump supporter; and yet the results show a persistent Dem lean.

Maybe Trump motivates his (on average) less well-educated rural supporters. And csl is picking that up on his personal radar.

But he also repels urban and suburban populations even more. Thus, the massive and overwhelming blue wave, which sweeps everything aside.
