The basic rule for NY residency is to be outside of NY for 183 days a year. So, if he is no longer in DC, where will he be, in FL? I doubt it. He’ll be where he’s always been, in 5th Ave. Then, he’ll no longer be able to claim FL residency. Unfortunately for NYorkers.

There is a ray of hope that he will get rid of everything in NY, including Trump tower, as his fortunes have taken a huge dive, his name being same as shit for many who have many and want nothing to do with anything his name is on.

But, what will he do in FL, play golf all day? That gets old after a few weeks and months on end.

Then, there is the issue of his business, not him personally paying taxes in NY, which will always do so long as it is doing business in NY. HIs kids AIN’t moving to FL

So, this FL residency is more like a stunt than anything else. And you don’t ....declare it, you just file your taxes that way.
