Not sure who is who in the Republican imagination. But looking at tarts as elections and Trump as the knave, I wouldn't value the vow so much. This is a man who is crooked to the bone spurs. His behaviour towards Ukraine isn't a bug. It's a feature. Of his whole life.
Thank goodness there are brave, honest folks like Pelosi and Schiff out there guarding the cookie jar and that the framers foresaw cheats like Trump and gave the House tools to protect it.
