Thanks Clo, we're fine, a little breezy, gusty yesterday, but calmer today, but as the fires are maybe 30 miles North, today the winds shifted, so we are seeing some smoke...

We're hosting a few 'refugees' from the evacuation areas, or just concerned folks that didn't want to be alone. Son went off to Sacramento, daughter-in-law is off in the Caribbean doing her training stuff, so they are fine. We were prepared for power down, but, luck of the draw, we're in an are with some more vital substation gear, local airport used for a base, so never lost it.. Other parts of the family did lose it, ones cared out on the coast, was told to leave their RV and head in to our area. That's just now been lifted, so they are good to go.. Maybe an extended stay!

It's up to over 66,000 acres, and back down to 5% containment, but that should improve...

Down by OCU, I see the Getty is threatened, so killed many treasures are hitting the road.. Many fires all over the State, many folks doing great things to help others... Our local Sheriff stepped up nicely, is doing good... National Guard, Police, Fire departments are all doing great...

California governor declares statewide emergency as massive wildfires force nearly 200,000 to evacuate
Massive wildfires in Northern and Southern California have prompted the governor to issue a “statewide emergency” as power outages expand, almost 200,000 people are under evacuation orders and tens of thousands of acres burn.

“It is critical that people in evacuation zones heed the warnings from officials and first responders,” Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement encouraging people to evacuate.
