We're down in SoCal, and a good 50-60 miles from those fires near L.A. Now there have been times a few years ago when we could see fires burning from our house, but not recently, thank God.

California governor declares statewide emergency as massive wildfires force nearly 200,000 to evacuate
Massive wildfires in Northern and Southern California have prompted the governor to issue a “statewide emergency” as power outages expand, almost 200,000 people are under evacuation orders and tens of thousands of acres burn.

“It is critical that people in evacuation zones heed the warnings from officials and first responders,” Gov. Gavin Newsom said in a statement encouraging people to evacuate.
