Credentials, though I have some, hold the same significance with me as royalty, which is to say, none.
For nearly a year after Trump announced, I was completely opposed to him until I recognized what he was doing. He created a character that could be elected. Trump is exceedingly intelligent but dumbs down his character in order to relate to Joe Sixpack and his family. I happen to like and respect Joe Sixpack and everyone in his family. Donald Trump persuaded me. Maybe I’m Joe Sixpack.
Trump ran a campaign to win the office. With virtually no help from either party he is implementing policies that are meeting with success. There are certainly huge problems that we are still facing, the economy is certainly a house of cards. But out here in rubeland Trump support is still growing. He will win again.
I also recognize no one here is persuadable about Trump, or his supporters, so this is pretty much a one off post. It doesn’t mean I don’t like or respect you, just that it isn’t a good use of time.
I am cautious in talking about politics generally because there is so much hostility out there. If I do choose to engage people it is because I think they may be persuadable. I may check in from time to time just to report what I see.
