Haven't thought at all about for-profit colleges. At this moment, I don't have any particular objection to one that's properly run (ie not Trump U).

But I am not sure why a for-profit college, accredited or otherwise, should receive government funding. Isn't the idea that a for-profit institution relies on private capital and the sale of its services?

I may be naive on this subject.

A former student is suing the Education Department for violating its own rules as mounting evidence shows the administration took extraordinary steps to keep two Art Institute campuses accredited after they lost the designation and access to federal student aid.
