Folks need thicker skins. People use the words and analogies they know. I wouldn't expect Trump to use infangthief instead of lynching, because he doesn't know much about Anglo-Saxon law. He doesn't know much about anything.
Not defending him. Defending the broad road for conversation against excessive sensitivity.

For myself, I don't really do outrage over the use of words. Words are there to be used. They don't have fences around them. People should have thick enough skins to survive the use of a word like lynching.
I am more shocked by Trump's thought process, which is so hopeless as to be humiliating. Is there anyone dumb enough to think that is a good argument? If there is, how sad is that!
