He says you can't indict him while he's president.
Now he says you shouldn't be able to impeach him.
Sounds like the type of licence a crook would want.
But the constitution is there to draw red lines, and he has crossed them. He crossed them with Russia. He crossed them with Ukraine. He crossed them with China. And he crossed them with Doral.
Then he obstructed the investigations designed to reveal his behaviour.
A guy who crosses red lines as if they don't exist, then obstructs the investigations, will be impeached. The constitution demands it.
Even after being impeached, he will have the chance to defend himself, when the Senate permits the trial he has, himself, made necessary.
For myself, I'm not so sensitive that I easily get offended by word choices, especially when used by a man without skill in their use. But I am bothered by misleading implications: it's kinda the opposite of a lynching. This is a lawful process.
