Well, after some thought, I have reversed my earlier dismissals of China, and I will try to hit some parts of that vast country, and its thousands of years of civilization, as well as Japan, where I always wanted to go.
I just became aware of the city of Guilin, in Guangxi province, which is known for its lake with the moon and son pagodas and its nearby mountains.
So, got to see and experience that stuff. Spain and Southern France have to take a back seat.
The more you see and experience, the more you understand and appreciate. But it’s not only about that, it is about enjoying yourself while learning.
Food for thought.
The only other place that I’d like to experience is the plains of Africa and Kilimanjaro. But that’s probably not going to happen.....
