But there will be losses, some that may not be recoverable, before you get there.

Right now, I think the US is in the process of losing the Middle East, or much of it. All those claims about freedom and democracy, or of American loyalty to its allies, sound like bloviating nonsense.

Israel will be scared. Saudi will know it has a fickle ally. If things move fast, they may make critical decisions before the US can respond.

Presidential decisions have consequences. But behind that, it has a voting bloc that is cancerous to the ideas of western liberty. It's a long-term project to fix the problem.

The US can recover if it can rid itself of this pestilence.
