Hartmann doesn’t have it all right there as the Kurds want their own sovereign state, parts of Turkey, Iraq, and Syria.
They should have it, and they are the ONLY population there that is 100% with the US. Turkey has killed and savaged them for ages. It is about time Turkey is treated as it should by the US, especially after buying the anti aircraft shit from the Russians.

The Kurds got screwed at the end of World War I, And lost their dream of an independent Kurdistan. There are large Kurdish communities in northern Syria, southern Turkey, and northwestern Iraq, and they have long dreamed of pulling back together into one country. In both Iraq and Syria they have been the allies of the United States in the battle against Isis and Al-Qaeda, but Erdogan in Turkey hates them and wants to kill them because they do not kowtow to his strongman rule. It's a tragedy that Donald Trump has decided to stop protecting our longtime ally the Kurds in Syria. Instead, he should be pulling together an international coalition to help them protect their territories and become their own country.
