There's no doubt what happened. Multiple whistleblowers will make everything clear.

Trump will claim they all misunderstood his intent.

Of course, they didn't. But this is why he kept the two halves of the extortion separate. Except, of course, that's how many extortion gambits work, according to prosecutors.
