Impeach Trump ?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2019/06/03/here-are-seven-reasons-trump-should-be-impeached/
Here are seven reasons Trump should be impeached

W.P. > Article 1. Donald J. Trump, in violation of his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has obstructed the administration of justice:
1. He attempted to fire Mueller.

Zim > Smells like 'Trump was colluding with the Russians . . .
No, there is absoltuely no evidence of that. There was no underlying
crime to 'obstruct justice' about. Mueller was on a witch hunt - trying
to parlay lies, slanders, and innuendoes into criminal behavior.
Cut the Crap.

W.P. > 4. He fired FBI Director James B. Comey, Mueller found, because of “Comey’s unwillingness to publicly state that the President was not personally under investigation.”

Zim > comey was fired because of gross incompetence.
Comey refused to seek an indictment of hillary clinton who, as everybody
knows, put classified information on her unclassified server - a clear
violation of the espionage act.

W.P. > Article II. Donald J. Trump, in violation of his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, failed to defend America from foreign election interference. As a candidate, he welcomed Russian intervention in the 2016 election

Zim > Who was in the White House during the 2016 election?
Oh, yes, barak obama was the one who should have been protecting the
Constitution and the American electoral processes. Not Trump.
The rest of it is nothing but lies, slanders, and innuendos.
Cut The Crap.

W.P. > Article III. Donald J. Trump, in violation of his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, attempted to investigate and prosecute his political opponents. On three occasions, Mueller found, Trump asked the Justice Department to initiate investigations of Hillary Clinton. More recently, Trump and his attorney, Rudolph W. Giuliani, attempted to initiate an investigation of Joe Biden.

Zim > Hillary clinton should have been indicted, prosecuted, and
jailed. Failure to attempt to bring her to justice should be a
violation of law. It appears that joe biden is also complicit
in corrupt behavior regarding his son hunter and Ukraine.
And possibly China.

W.P. > Article IV. Donald J. Trump, in violation of his oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution, and to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, failed to produce papers and testimony as duly directed by Congress. Trump obstructed at least 20 inquiries relating to his taxes, business records, the Mueller investigation and other matters.

Zim > The democrat party in congress is obviously engaged in a
witch hunt. They are clearly out to impeach Donald Trump by
any means and under the flimsiest of excuses. To allow them
to continue these witch hunts is a travesty of justice.

W.P. > Article V. Donald J. Trump, in violation of federal campaign finance laws, conspired with his attorney Michael Cohen in order to conceal alleged relationships with adult film actress Stormy Daniels and Playboy playmate Karen McDougal before the 2016 election.

Zim > Funny. Old news. And I would have thought the congress
would have already determined that there was absolutely nothing
there to impeach him about.
Cut the Crap.

W.P. > Article VI. Donald J. Trump, in violation of his oath to uphold Article 1, section 9 of the Constitution (“No money shall be drawn from the treasury, but in consequence of appropriations made by law”), attempted to misuse his emergency powers to spend funds on a border wall that Congress did not appropriate.

Zim > Donald Trumps primary duty - as President of these
United States, is to protect the peoples of these
United States. We have an invasion army routinely
violating our laws and borders along the southern border.
The President would be in violation of those duties if he
was not trying to find some way to stop it. It should
also be noted that the congress has not tried to impeach him for it.
Cut the Crap

W.P. Article VII. Donald J. Trump, in violation of his oath to uphold the emoluments clauses (which forbid the president from accepting benefits from foreign and state governments without the permission of Congress) retains ownership of a global business empire which allows him to benefit from dealings with foreign and state governments.

So, Trump owns a bunch of hotels from before he became President
and no he's not supposed to continue to provide shelter and
lodging to anybody who pays for it? Do you have any idea how
churlish, childish and immature article Vii sounds? Again, have
the democrats in the congress tried to impeach Trump over his hotels?
Of course not - because they know what you do not.
That there is no crime there to impeach him for.

Cut the Crap.

W.P. > Trump has committed more criminal and unconstitutional conduct than any previous president in U.S. history.

Zim > Oh really now?
None of what you are trying to accuse the President of sounds
like an impeachable offense. As for more 'criminal and
unconstitutional conduct' . . . If you had honestly looked
at former President Barak Obama while he was in the White
House you would know better.

Have you forgotten Obama's 'I got a phone and a pen'?
He was trying to rule America by fiat from the oval office.
And you don't find that Un-Constitutional?

What about those FISA warrants for communications
regarding Presidential Nominee Donald Trumps associates?
How can you not consider that a much more severe abuse of
power than Richard Nixons bumbling burglars?
Zim.
