I read an interesting item the other day about Rachel Maddow. It seems that she's an avid fly-fisherman and when she's not working that's where you'd find her, standing in some stream with a fly-rod in her hand. It also turns out the Tucker Carlson is an avid fly-fisherman. Also they used to work together, years ago, when MSNBC was first getting started, and while they don't have a lot of contact today, it's reported that Carlson still tries to catch the first 15 minutes of Rachel's evening shows. He says that he agrees with absolutely nothing that she believes in, but he likes how she organizes her opening sequence and the way she builds up to her big story. As he said, he hardly ever agrees with her, but likes to watch her work as she's a very smart and professional person.
Anyway, I thought it was interesting.
