Gosh, how weird looking at the Abbey Road cover again

It's the London of my ancient memories. The cars that each had distinct characters. The fact you could park on the pavement back then. The absence of yellow lines and permit holder signs to stop you parking. I used to go along Abbey Road quite frequently and look at the nondescript crossing where the Beatles crossed and up the side-road where the studio was.

I hadn't realised that cover would evoke my own memories until I looked at it again. Here's a link to the cover. I don't believe him when he says the sky was overcast that day. The shadows don't show up like that on a cloudy day in London. But otherwise, what an interesting article.
