hey csl, weren't you the person telling us there was mass support for Trump before the midterms? but somehow it was invisible in the polls. that the blue wave was fiction.

i kinda understood at that point that America looks different from Indiana. that it skews the spectacles so you see things from the red end of the spectrum.

folks also eat in restaurants and fill their cars in california and in new york. the popular majority nationwide at the last two elections was with the Dems. Trump is a divisive hate figure and seems to be no patriot.

the largest part of the country is empty space and fields with no one in them. it's people that vote and most of them live in big cities. and the cities vote Dem by a large majority. that's the reality, even for folks chewing steak somewhere in Indiana.

My wife & I went out to eat today. I had a steak. She had lake perch. Included soup, bread basket, and a couple sides. Everything was good. More than we could eat. Very nice waitress. Very nice people all around us.

Total paid $22, including taxes and a 25% tip.

Filled up the car on the way home. $2.47/gallon.

I love this country. I love Indiana. Really happy we left Illinois.

Too bad so many people don’t know this country. Most of the country is like Indiana.
