Proroguing parliament is also done annually as a matter of course. And it was done when May arrived as PM.
The courts are stepping in and saying we are in charge of this area, which they have always said was not within their remit before.
It's a shocking judgement. Not sure what to make of it. They think he is lying because surely it was about Brexit. I think that more than one thing can be true at the same time. And thus that the judges are rather simple-minded.
