We're here in Oregon with my wife's nephew and his family. They have two small children (ages 2 and 5) who've both had medical issues since birth. Today my wife was talking to the nephew's wife and she was saying that they were so grateful that their children will never have to worry about their childhood medical problems preventing them from getting insurance on their own since Trump was able to get insurance companies to stop denying people insurance because of preexisting conditions. When my wife tried to explain that, NO it was Obama who accomplished this and that Trump was trying destroy the law the is guaranteeing their children's protection, the children's mother said that's not true, that it was Trump who got these laws passed, not Obama. She said that Obama had tried to destroy the healthcare system in America and it was Trump who saved it. She was serious. She really believes that if it weren't for Trump, her kids would have no health insurance.

My wife's nephew is a minister at an evangelical church up in Washington state and they honestly believe that Trump won his election because that's what God wanted. God was protecting America from the evils of Hillary and her supporters who still wants to destroy the country. Now he can't really help it since he was raised by someone who believes that same thing. The nephew is the son of my wife's brother, who also happens to be a minister (he's now retired) for an evangelical church, only this one was in Oregon. We were at a wedding at his church for my wife's niece (his daughter) back in the Fall of 2008, just before the election and you should have heard them talk about Obama. First off, he was a Muslim which automatically disqualified him from being president. Second, he was born in Kenya so he's not even a citizen. And third, and this was the 'best', while they weren't all that happy with John McCain, they were convinced that Sarah Palin was going to assure that Obama would be defeated because she was the person who was really going to be president since McCain's health would force him to resign shortly after taking office. Therefore, people were actually voting for Sarah not McCain, and she's the reason that Obama is never going to have a chance because America wants good Christian's like Sarah and Todd Palin in the White House, not a black, foreign-born, Muslim.

There some really crazy people out there and we're related to some of them.
