Excellent ending, I can feel the relief when you found out, as well as their relief as well..

It's such a pain to mess with replacements, lost my wallet a few years back, here, in CA, had to have been found, but I never did.. Had $2-300 in cash, plus CCs, ATM, CDL, medical and auto insurance cards, and then try to remember what all was in there..

Cancelled all the cards, chased down all the other cards, but it took a while.. I had stopped by an ATM on our way to dinner, had trouble getting my wallet back in my hip pocket, so most likely when I got out at the restaurant, it must have fallen, un-noticed.. Went to pay, no wallet! Inlaw picked up the tab anyway, but I still try..

More careful now, once was enough!

Called today to file a complaint.

Told them the passwords were there when arriving. Then, “someone” I will not mention, remembered that at some point the suitcase had briefly tipped over, and suggested to them to look behind and under the curtain it was leaning against.....

Low and behold the passport case was on the floor, behind the curtain.

So, they’ll send them, and I am glad I didn’t go crazy blaming the frenchies for ........theft.

What a debacle.
