Grateful to spend the day with mom, which I do every Monday after work.
Today she is 92!!
Her mom, my favorite Nanie lived to be 99.
I made her favorite, popovers. She has a great sense of humor. I take after her ;)) her mind is sharp, sure she forgets what movie she watched over the weekend at times, but no big deal.
My oldest son called me. He moved to Virginia a few years ago for health reasons & is on disability. He was an operating engineer for 30 years & loved his work. He ran tower cranes, very hairy.
Well, he got a call from all the guys in NYC from his old job. They wanted to know how he was doing. He said he was on the phone for nearly an hour. They told him he'd be racking in even more money today. Many now are non union workers & can't operate a crane the way Paul could.
They made his day, probably his week.
and it speaks volumes about the man Paul is & the respect they have for him.

DO SOMETHING!
