Oh, and no homeless in sight, I only saw 5 or 6 walking the streets with cups asking for money.....that’s it.

There is construction going on everywhere, and the streets are terrible, worse than NYCity’s, patched up and patched over, and cones everywhere making going around in a car a real unpleasant experience. They are fixing and digging up streets to replace old structures underneath and pipes everywhere. The Uber driver last night was very funny, he said they estimated that to fix all the roads in Montreal would take 30 years, and they would then have to start fixing again. Severe winter seasons and city traffic have their effects, as well as age of buildings, pipes, etc. He also said that all those cones are rented for $1,75 a day a piece, Canadian, and the estimate is that every single Montreal resident owns 2 cones.........by now.

Despite all that, the city flows.

Montreal, awesome food, on all levels, a late town, bunch of restaurants all over serve until 3 am.....

One of my favorites, L’Express, been there for decades, with its 50s beautiful decor/design, and unbelievably good food......
