Today in Montreal.......

Good thing I ride the food and drinks off on the bike, otherwise it would be a problem. I call it the “load, unload, reload, unload, repeat” process, and there are no bullets involved, just food and high speeds.

Btw, the occasion is two UCI World Tour races in Quebec and Montreal, where many of the top riders in the world, including the current road race Olympic champion Greg Van Avermaet race about 120 miles for each event, with lots of steep climbing. It’s called the Gran Prix de Cyclistes, and it is fun to be here. The finish yesterday with a bunch sprint going uphill at car speeds was amazing.

I’m in Quebec City and Montreal these days, and enjoying great food and friendly people with ...no guns, surprise surprise...

Who needs a fkng gun here? For what, other than hunting? People walk the streets in Quebec at night, all night. Restaurants one after the other, a bustling society. One thing that stands out is restaurant workers and hotel cleanup crews, etc., are all .....locals. And the food is amazing.

They drive better, too. No passing from the right, no hanging out in the left lane going under the speed limit, no jumping out to cut you off as you are about to pass them, then going slow, trucks in the right lane, etc.

We are talking a far more civil crowd. And a happy crowd from what I gathered. Quebec City is just a beautiful, historic town. Full of Frenchies, and they pretty much all speak english. I’d live in Quebec in a heartbeat, if it wasn’t such a cold, snowy place. It’s already in the 60s for highs during the afternoon........fuggetaboutit. Windy, too.

F guns and the shitheads who think you need a gun to feel ok about your every day. That’s shithole living.
