Switzerland turns towards negotiating a treaty with the UK

due to intransigent EU bureaucrats [in case you didn't know, they have been struggling to do a square deal with the EU as well].

So we lose Belgian chocolate and get Swiss - an upgrade!

This could all work out nicely if we can draw away a few more European trading partners that are sick of the EU's arrogance. The other countries in the European Free Trade Area (Norway, Iceland etc) would also be a nice set, albeit they are all smallish, like Switzerland.

Maybe a North Atlantic Free Trade Area can be established as the name NAFTA is available. Add Canada and Ireland to the UK, Iceland, Norway and Switzerland and you have a 100m+ block to begin with and a population which no one can ignore.
