We just can’t have religion in government business and public business of any kind. Period.

This bs about religious rights cannot be practiced in such circumstances. You have the right to be as religious as you want, in your home, in your church, what have you, but you cannot step on others’ CIVIL RIGHTS.

If we go down this road, we’ll soon have some asshole who won’t serve jews or muslims in their restaurant, or funeral services for gays, etc., or not treat as a doctor people who look strange, and pretty soon America will be a shithole.

Religious beliefs cannot define public discourse of any kind. There is no such thing in the constitution, and no one has the right to refuse to do business for religious reasons in a commercial business of any kind. We have the right of non discrimination, and there is no right TO DISCRIMINATE based on religion.

It is simple.

You can do whatever you want in your private home and property, but not in your business, with the exception of churches and religious entities of any kind. That’s the only exception.

That’s why America flourished, not because it wants to end up with another inquisition.

So, fk her, and fk her good. Send her to the poorhouse.

Kentucky clerk who refused gay marriage licenses can be sued

A federal court ruled Kim Davis can be sued in her individual capacity, though sovereign immunity shielded her from being sued in her former county clerk role.

The Kentucky county clerk who in 2015 gained widespread attention for refusing to issue marriage licenses to same-sex couples may be sued for damages by two of those couples, a federal appeals court ruled on Friday.

In a 3-0 decision, the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Cincinnati said Kim Davis can be sued in her individual capacity, though sovereign immunity shielded her from being sued in her former role as Rowan County Clerk.
