Committee Chairmen in Congress have to PAY the party in order to get that, $1.2 million, so all they do in Congress is raise money to gain power, NOT TO SERVE THE PEOPLE WHO VOTED FOR THEM.
LET ME REPHRASE THAT: To be able to be heard in Congress, you have to pay so that you are in a position of power.
Campaign Finance law makes sure this is how politics works.
This should be a non partisan issue. The more people are informed and educated, hopefully things will change to serve our common interests, not corporations, lobbies, and politicians interested in lining their pockets.
