The government won't even name the companies.

But the AP did.

A U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official said Wednesday that search warrants were executed at seven locations across the state targeting several companies. They include the Morton plant of poultry producer Koch Foods Inc., which has no relation to Charles and David Koch. The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because details of the operation were not intended for publication.

The official says owners as well as employees are targeted in a federal criminal investigation.

The AP witnessed dozens of agents ready to process the workers inside a military facility in Flowood, Miss., with seven lines, one for each location.

Trump Goes After Brown Workers for the Crimes of Wealthy White Bosses

by Thom Hartmann

In one of the most vivid examples of the year, Donald Trump's ICE has shown us how this administration protects the interests and lives of the wealthy while attacking people who are poor, defenseless, and powerless. ICE conducted raids across Mississippi arresting more than 600 undocumented workers, but not a single wealthy white employer was even detained, much less arrested.

Parentless children are in shock, poor people with no resources are being chewed up by our legal system, but wealthy white employers got a pass from this administration led by a billionaire who, himself, employed undocumented workers for decades without penalty. Children and babies were left at day care centers and schools with no one to pick them up, and in at least one case wandering the streets looking for their parents.

Meanwhile, the wealthy white people who own these companies probably wrote another check to the Trump campaign.
