I agree that everyone plays the victim game these days. But I don't agree that there's a universal advantage in a skin colour any more than that there's a universal disadvantage in one. Everyone gets lucky and unlucky breaks. You have to go out and try in order to see if the breaks come your way.

My view is that your last point describes the right model. Be responsible! Everyone should get a bit more muscular and quit blaming other people for their condition, whatever their skin colour or history. If folks work hard and get lucky, they have a shot at success. For those who don't get lucky, you want a safety net, but you want it more for the hard workers than the ones who don't try. On the other hand, winnowing is hard and may not be worth the effort.

I can't phantom the hatred, when being 'white' gives you so many more advantages in America.
This group is based on being victims... taking no responsibility for their lives & blaming 'others'.
