Great flight with JetBlue into Denver, unbelievable ride on 70 to GJ alongside the Colorado river, amazing sights, perfect weather, like Athens weather, 90 and dry, nice breeze, cools into the 60s at night. The mecca of outdoor activity in the country, any activity. Great town, the friendliest people. Got a nice VRBO rental in a choice area, Redlands, something between a cabin and a cottage, beautiful yard and decks to sip martinis and grill steaks, only sounds from nature, noone to see you or you them, homes around are not visible, just a couple of roofs 100 yards away, coyotes at night, a little too good to be true. Staying in a place you could own is awesome.
Now, over the next few weeks I’ll have a verdict on this area living, next to the Colorado National Monument.

BTW, there were either the Thunderbirds or the Blue Angels doing demo flying over the local airport, in twos and fours, thundering sounds as they went over the area.....
