They are what one hopes is the soul of the real America. But to be honest, I am not sure there is a real America: just a strange middle and two fairly typical places on the coasts that drive the economy.

As you know, I don't understand why y'all stick with a single country, when there are three of you. And maybe the middle could also split in three, between the Deep South, the Mid-West and Florida. What fun for there to be five countries rather than one. Alaska to join Canada, which makes sense as well.

The current US isn't moving towards a resolution. It's knee-deep in misery.

ICE tries to detain man at Tennessee home and neighbors form a human chain to protect him

Neighbors delivered food, water and gasoline to the man, who was with a child in a van, as ICE agents stayed at the home for hours.
