But otherwise, I mostly like and appreciate AOC. She is really passionate about her issues. I wish there were more like her, even when I disagree with her.

Her raising of the environmental issues above economics is particularly appealing, even if I suspect the only path to success is harnessing economic forces, not denying them. The faster we move to friendly energy sources, the better.

It's the method I dislike. Suggesting Pelosi's rationale is based on race.

People should try and figure if there are other reasons before throwing out the -ist and -phobe words. They play it like it's a trump card. But it often looks to me like a weakness and a laziness in the accuser. They are claiming victimhood status as a reflex, because they are used to using it to cow their opponents. If Pelosi was a man, they'd surely have used gender against her, as well.

Pelosi is showing them that they need to work first and complain later. Good way to do things. They need to grow up, have some personal dignity, express strength rather than weakness, and show respect to the Speaker.
