It's a shame he didn't. Maybe he didn't want to point out that this automatically makes him a British subject of Her Majesty by blood!

At any rate, what a brilliant demonstration of the value of an experienced, nearly universally respected head of state. It is useful having a non-politician manage the relationship in such a way. A Prime Minister simply couldn't have pulled it off without creating a political megastorm - a PM on her death-bed no chance at all. But the Queen is Bob the Builder. Can she fix it? Yes she can.

Many of us thought he should've mentioned his mother when he addressed the Queen.

She was born in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, immigrated to the United States in 1930 and became a naturalized citizen in 1942.She raised five children with her husband and engaged in philanthropic activities in the New York area.
She was a big supporter of Planned Parenthood, so was he back before running for office.

That said, for Trump he did well. But the trip isn't over, we will be holding our breath...
