My wife and I leave early tomorrow (Wednesday) morning for Katy, TX and then on to Michigan. On Saturday, granddaughter #2 graduates from high school. We're going to spend the long holiday weekend with our oldest son and his family and then on Tuesday morning (the day after Memorial Day) we head for Michigan, but we're stopping first in Waco to visit some old friends. We should be in Michigan by Thursday late afternoon/early evening. Then on Sunday afternoon we head up to northern Michigan (not the UP) to our home town where we have a couple of family birthdays to celebrate and plan to visit several cousins. We start back home on Sunday morning, June 9th and should be back in SoCal by sometime on Wednesday, June 12th. We'll be gone 22 days (21 nights) and I estimate that we'll be driving something over 6,000 miles.
Anyway, I'll take lots of pictures.
