now that he is AG.

It's the kind of thing candidates should be asked by the committee responsible for appointing an AG.

Of course, his ideas turn out to be the sort Trump wanted. The president, according to Barr, is more-or-less a dictator, invulnerable to the law. So Trump's team actually did their work.

It isn't the sort of presidency the framers envisaged. So if an originalist is honest, they will reject Barr's interpretation.

And from a practical perspective, Republicans have been complaining for years (at least whenever there's a Democratic president) that presidents have been usurping powers from congress. So Barr's also misrepresenting the recent past too.

Dictators like enablers like Barr. If Barr finally figures out the damage he has wrought, and turns on his dictator boss, he'll quickly be removed from his seat and sent to jail.

Barr's legacy is the destruction of the DOJ's reputation for the impartial administration of justice. A corrupt president. A corrupt DOJ.
