$20 for a plastic bracelet?
And people are actually buying them?

Personally I think 4Ocean should look into converting
all that plastic back into oil.

Wanna cut back on the amount of plastic?
Go back to paper grocery sacks and paper straws.

Zim.

Plastic waste is a big issue. It is estimated approximately 8 million tons of plastic waste ends up in the oceans each year.

4ocean is a company that sells plastic bracelets for $20. They run a national advertising campaign claiming they have removed 2 million pounds of plastic waste from the oceans. That works out to 1 thousand tons of plastic. The equivalent of about 3 thousand barrels of oil. Kinda like a spit in the ocean. A solution to the problem needs to be found. 4ocean sure ain’t it. Looks like a feel good scam to me.
