Donald Trump Jr. agrees to be interviewed by Senate Intel Committee as House panel ramps up probe of Trump family lawyers
Donald Trump Jr. has agreed to be interviewed next month by the Republican-led Senate Intelligence Committee, a source close to the president's eldest son confirmed to NBC News on Tuesday.
The source said the closed-door session, expected to take place in mid-June, will be limited to five or six topics and will last two to four hours. Separately, the Democratic-led House Intelligence Committee is investigating whether personal lawyers for President Donald Trump and his family tried to obstruct special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation by helping Michael Cohen deliver false testimony.
