Some algorithm doubtless thinks it knows about me, even though I rarely visit facebook. Maybe they have installed a tracking cookie.
Interesting to see how it works as I haven't been targeted before.
Unfortunately for facebook, which thrives on advertising and selling my private information to third parties, all this means is that I won't be spending any more time on their site than I have been. Which is rarely if ever.
Note for the cookie: I only click on news sites where I know the editorial policies require that facts are checked, or I already know who the author is.
