Brexit simply isn't driven by Russia. It expresses a widespread sense that parliament is not listening to the people which goes back to the Maastricht Treaty in 1991-2.
This was when John Major agreed a move towards a federal Europe without giving the British people a say. It's like the US President joining a union of all the countries of the Americas without even allowing a vote.
Cameron let the cat out of the bag by finally allowing a referendum. And folks had a chance actually to vote whether they wanted to be a part of a federal Europe or a United Kingdom. And they said no.
This is a binary thing. Folks don't want May's deal. They want to leave the EU.
The Conservatives have only 11% support, against the Brexit Party's 34%. And the Brexit number is growing by the day although the party has only existed for a month or two.
May has destroyed her own party. And yet she won't step aside. And somehow she interprets every disastrous result as if it supports her position.
Go! For God's sake. Give someone else a chance who actually believes in Brexit, with its costs as well as its benefits.
