Which allies?

He doesn't mean the allies which struck a deal with Iran alongside the US, obviously. Countries like Germany, Britain and France, who when they sign a treaty, treat it as if it is their bond.

He doesn't mean Putin, with whom he is more than an ally, and who is allied with Iran.

Does he mean the Saudi absolute monarch, the Egyptian dictator and the crooked Israeli PM?

Not a fan of Iran, but where's the moral high ground these days. The US, which invaded Iraq for no proper reason [WMDs at the time] and voided its participation in the treaty with Iran without cause, has none of it. This is mere military bullying. And Russia will respond, of course, putting its missile defences along the Iranian border.

And with what aim is the US operating? Trump Tower Mecca, Trump Tower Cairo and Trump Tower Jerusalem?

U.S. sending carrier strike group to Middle East to send "unmistakable message" to Iran
National security adviser John Bolton said the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a bomber task force were being sent to U.S. Central Command's region of responsibility, which covers the Middle East.

While Bolton said the United States wasn't seeking to go to war with Iran, he declared that "any attack on United States interests or on those of our allies will be met with unrelenting force."
