The name gaffe is one thing. But there's another issue which is more important.

They contacted you in confidence, Joe. Obviously. You just breached it. Come on. The thing that matters most is that you can be trusted. If you can't, then you lose the big advantage you should have against Trump.

These things are so simple. Biden is too old to claim to be a rookie. If I am one of the 14, I don't speak to Biden again unless he is elected.

Because of this huge error of judgement, Kamala Harris looks a stronger candidate to me.
