I wonder why there's so rarely a mention of calls he is having with the US' old allies. It's Putin, not Merkle or May.
Maybe he isn't talking to them. One might imagine they aren't sharing major secrets with a man loyal to Putin, with whom they are having a pointless trade war and who reneged on a signed treaty with Iran.
