I know we just tried HRC. A female candidate. And she lost.

But lest we forget, she won more votes than Mad King Don. Her problem was only that in three or four states her numbers were slightly too low.

This, when Russia was targetting the election using Trump's internal polling numbers. And Comey damaged HRC.

So I agree there's a phenomenon of fearing that women cannot win the presidency and a worry that we should take no risks because this president is uniquely dreadful.

I would support any Dem against Trump. I imagine many other will also do so. I don't care if the candidate is long in the tooth, or shares their bed with a man. I would be least enthusiastic about Bernie, but I don't see him refusing to step down at the end of his time in office, which makes him better than Trump.

I believe America can elect a woman.

Especially against Mad King Don.

Folks will get behind anyone who isn't him.

She reminds me a bit of Margaret Thatcher, only a left of centre version. No one gave her a chance either.
