That could be the most sensible thing you've ever written.

The problem is, America is now firmly divided into two camps: Those who want to keep what they have, and those who want to be given what others have. Actually, since we all want to keep what we have, a more apt way of categorizing the groups is PREY and PREDATORS. I don't think there's much the prey can do differently. They aren't going to stop fighting back. Nobody is going to be complacent about being fed upon.

The best answer to partisanship is for the predators... those who advocate bigger, heavier taxes and more regulatory government, to KNOCK IT OFF. Fend for yourselves. Stop asking government to provide for you, always at someone else's expense since government has no wealth of its own.

Another likely solution is for the two parties to go to war with one another. Democrats seem to have already done this, but they've done so in their usual pacifist, toss-a-grenade-and-run-away way. Most Republicans don't recognize that for what it is and still aren't fighting back. One day, hopefully, they will. If that happens, conservatives will win the war. Their grenades are tangible, after all, and city dwellers are sitting ducks in that sort of war. Will that be the end of America? Maybe. But something will remain, and that something may be better than what we have today.

I expect you will disagree. Experience says you might lob some insults but won't explain your reasoning.
