And no, let’s not talk about burger joints. We are talking a top company with billions in profits, and a CEO and executives that makes thousands of times more than their employees.
Now, what to do about it? When Disney CEO makes 1,424 times that much more, no one can say we don’t have a problem. There is no more middle class, there is the upper class, and the ones way below whose sweat keeps them there. Is capitalism going to end in a wreck? Don’t have the answer, but the obvious signs are not good. The solution is not socialism. There are many changes that can mitigate the unsustained path of unfettered capitalism. And we won’t solve anything with partisanship. We are already losing our world influence, because we are being stupid. Kim is just meeting with Putin now. It’s called a SUMMIT. WTF? We turned Putin into an influential ahole, and Kim Into a legitimate leader. The downhill has been slow, but OBVIOUS.
