I like Mayor Pete's college plan too.

But I am with Warren that putting college debt on the backs of kids ain't right. We ask them to pay for everyone's retirement. We need to encourage them to go to college, not burden them for years.

Basically, I think it's a tricky method of transferring costs from the real beneficiaries of college education - the baby boom retirees - to the people least able to afford it.

So I am with Warren. And I am also with you re Mayor Pete - provide a working way to get college credits so kids have a way to pay without assuming a massive debt burden.

Candidates on CNN last night

Amy was first & I watched all of her & found her solid as a rock. I agree with her & would be comfortable with her as POTUS.

Elizabeth was next. I only watched a bit.
For a person running trying to woo the working class, how does she consider people making 100,000 in that category, unless they live in NY NY CT or CA? To wipe college debt away...
I can see refinancing at a low interest rate, but if you signed on to the bottom line you need to fulfill your contract.

Bernie, barely watched him. He's nuts. He thinks anyone who commited a crime, whatever that crime was, should be allowed to vote.
He just lost any 'Trump voters' with that nonsense, and I'd hope many lefties.

Kamala, I didn't catch her.

Mayor Pete, I caught some of him, it was late.
He doesn't agree with Bernie on allowing murderers to vote.
I was glad he's not for free college, but thinks earning credit for college by a workcorp plan to offset the cost is a better idea.
And I liked the way he addressed the difference between Bernie & Trump. Both vying for the 'outsider status'.
I still find him compelling.
