That's a long ride from LA.. It has been our final stop when we're out with the RV, then the run home the next day... Rarely head out that way, generally end up in Needles or somewhere in Oregon, depending on the trip... Better to just fly over into Europe, except this flights are generally polar jumps...

Anyway, have a more relaxed run to MT! Sorry it's Butte, but..

I made it to Salt Lake City. It took me about 12 hours to cover 684 miles. I left at 5:22am and had no traffic or construction problems until I got to just north of St. George, UT when I was stopped by an accident. They had to move three lanes of traffic into one to get by a really nasty looking two-car accident. That delayed us about 20-30 minutes. Other than that it was smooth sailing. Only rain was some fast moving squalls between St. George and Provo.

I met up with college buddy and we leave for Butte, MT in the morning.
