Yes, my maternal grandmother.
She was a very special woman, and always a safe harbor during troubling times.
She played the piano, guitar, melodica, accordion, self taught. She had breast cancer, back when they removed everything. This before she remarried.
She never raised her voice. Made rosaries for people that lived in third world countries, taught religious instructions. Her sister became a nun late in life & joined a new order in New Mexico. Nanny & grandpa visited several times.
She gave unconditional love & we had a special relationship. The kind I have with my oldest granddaughter ;))
