I think I understand now why you care.

Avenatti reminds you of another man. The thought of him going away "for a very long time" therefore brings back painful memories. Tell me if I'm wrong.

TBH, I was surprised you didn't hate Avenatti and delight in what's happening to him. He's a straight, white man, after all, and you normally hate straight, white men. Then it dawned on me that even though he's vastly younger than you, Avenatti represents a father figure to your undeveloped mind. He was an authority figure representing Stormy Daniels... a blonde woman similar to yourself in several key ways. Father figures get a waiver from the hatred. That's it, isn't it? So many of your personality disorders seem to have their roots in guilt you harbor over daddy abandoning his princess and why he did it.

You might want to discuss this with your mother - assuming that after all these years, she's let go of her resentment toward you.
